Requisites for Admission

Texas Careers has set these admission prerequisites and processes.

When applying to the School one must meet one of the following standards:

Graduate of a high school or the equivalent such as a General Education Development (GED) certificate or a Home Study certificate or transcript from a Home Study program that is equal to high school level and is recognized by the student's home state.

Be over the age of mandatory school attendance and be able to show the ability to benefit (ATB) from the training by passing an independently administered test (except paralegal and vocational nursing at the San Antonio campus).
