Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at South University readies students to seek employment in a wide variety of health care settings including acute care hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living or rehabilitation facilities, in-home, community-based clinics, and school health clinics.

With this program, you also have the chance to:

  • Learn about the latest in health care concepts
  • Learn about hospice care, geriatric nursing, and alternative and holistic nursing approaches.
  • Improve your skills in patient education and increase your capacity for training and motivating nursing personnel.
  • Establish supervision skills by developing your critical thinking skills by setting priorities, accepting responsibility, and making choices.

Nursing RN to BSN Degree Completion

South University's Nursing RN to BSN degree completion program was created for those RNs who attended a regionally accredited school where they got an associate's degree, or they received a diploma from one of the nursing schools that's accredited by the National League of Nursing (NLNAC).

The RN to BSN degree is fixed in a way that allows students to advance in their studies without being a hindrance to their job or lifestyle. Our fast paced class schedule mixes campus and Internet courses, assisting RNs to reach their goal of having a BSN in the least amount of time.

Earn RN experience credit.

  • RN's can earn up to 45 credit hours for their experience as a nurse.
  • Qualified applicants can receive financial aid and credit transfers.

In 18 months you can have a BSN degree with advanced classes

  • If applicants qualify they can obtain a BSN degree in 18 months.
  • Five and one half week courses that are accelerated.
