RN to BSN Completion Program

Goodwin College offers a program specifically designed for the Registered Nurse who desires a baccalaureate degree in nursing. The RN student's adult learning requirements were taken into consideration when creating the classroom and clinical work.

Admission Requirements

Admission is based upon the following requirements:

  • The applicant must hold a diploma of nursing or an associate degree from an accredited institution recognized by the Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
  • The person applying needs to have a valid Registered Nurse license in the state where clinical practice will be done or graduate authorization to work as a registered nurse.
  • The application for admission into Goodwin College must be completed. The admission requirements must be met in order for applicants to the nursing program to be accepted into Goodwin College.
  • Application for Bachelor in Nursing Program completion requirements.

The following must be included in the finished application:

  1. Evidence of GED or an official High school transcript.
  2. College transcripts with official seal.
  3. A resume that is professional in appearance and content.
  4. Two letters of recommendation sent directly to the Nursing Department office.
  5. A meeting with the Program director or other staff member.
